Starboard (“we”, “us”) collects the information a business owner provides during onboarding (business name, category, staff names, platform links) and the information a customer provides while rating a visit (a star rating, an optional written review, and — only when the customer chooses to leave private feedback — a name, phone number or email address).

We use this data to route ratings to the correct review platform, attribute scans to staff for the leaderboard, and let business owners read private feedback. We do not sell customer data to third parties.

Data is stored on infrastructure located in India and retained for as long as the business account is active. A business owner or customer can request deletion of their data by writing to hello@starboard.app.
